I am writing to inform you of major changes to the regional set-up which have just been implemented on www.OurWeddingMemories.co.uk with the introduction of new Counties.
These changes can be viewed by visiting our search page at http://www.ourweddingmemories.co.uk/files/search.php and selecting a region. This now takes you through to a further option to select a County within that region.
All listings have been updated so that any covering a particular region will now be listed in all Counties covered by that region. Counties covered can be changed to more relevant ones by clicking the edit link alongside a listing after logging in to your account. If you are currently listed in 4 Counties, you can now change these to different Counties up to a maximum of 4 or your current amount.
These changes should improve the quality both of traffic to your own website as well as registrations you receive being far more targeted. We also expect these changes to help considerably increase the overall traffic to the site as we can now target more specific areas with search engines. As listings come up for renewal and advertisers select different areas, we expect the number of listings per area to reduce somewhat.
As there are now more Counties per region we have considerably reduced the cost of listings to £20.00 for an enhanced listing and £15.00 for a standard listing per County. There is still a 25% discount when purchasing more than one area at a time. Please note that these prices could change at anytime. To enable further targeted enquiries and traffic we will shortly be adding a postcode search so please ensure your postcode is correct within your account. This can be changed by clicking the edit profile link once logged in.
We will now be working on improvements to the registration system following feedback from many advertisers, although the above changes should increase the quality of future enquiries.
However we have made some small initial changes as follows:
1) When a visitor searches for a photographer and completes the registration form, the check box to contact all photographers within a region will be de-selected. The visitor will need to physically select this so mistakes shouldn't be made.
2) If a visitor registers using the general form, without first selecting a photographer, they have the option to contact all photographers in a given County.
3) Once a visitor is registered and logged in they can only contact individual photographers or visit their website rather than contact all again, this will stop multiple details being sent for the same visitor.
4) Free listings will no longer receive any notifications until improvements have been made to the registration system. If you only have a free listing and wish to receive visitor details then you need to purchase a listing.
As mentioned we will now be working on improvements to the system but the above changes should improve the quality of details you receive in the interim period.
